With a new visual appearance and brand design, the Schminkbar brand has been re-launched. The new design, created by the branding agency allink and implemented by our team, shows the unique mood and high-quality treatments of the make-up bar.
From a business perspective the website’s primary goal was to focus on online strategy and the conversion of leads to actual sales. An important key performance indicator was defined as the increase in traffic, with the goal of selling as many online vouchers as possible and creating more brand awareness through higher online visibility. Search engine optimisation was an important focus and was brought to fruition by an optimised page architecture, WordPress SEO optimisation and content optimisation.
The voucher orders are processed through WooCommerce, the de facto WordPress e-commerce solution. The vouchers can be paid by credit card or bank transfer. In order to reduce the administrative overhead – which is caused by the large number of orders – an interface was implemented directly between WooCommerce and Abacus, the Swiss market leader for business and ERP software.
