Briefing
USZ requires a mobile and desktop app through which the leading doctors and management can view the most important key figures of the various clinics and medical departments in real-time. Push notifications about various key figures or areas efficiently inform users about important changes or anomalies in the KPIs.
Our solution
The mobile apps for iOs and Android, as well as the browser-based desktop app were implemented using the React and React Native Framework for the most part on the same codebase. The data is regularly aggregated by middleware from the USZ’s internal SAP data cubes and output to the applications, via an API. It was important to find a flexible data structure that would allow USZ to adjust the KPIs or data structures independently, at any time.
Since the data is sensitive, the applications and APIs are only accessible via a login. The login happens via a single sign-on with the Azure Active Directory of USZ, so that employees can log in with their work account.
